Fresh 2 is a collection of ten wood grain and seven plain colour surface trends that are shaping design across the furniture and interior sector.

Insipred by a 12-month global design journey of more than 4,000 miles, Fresh 2 was created by the design-centric team at Kronospan.  The surfaces are style predictions based on current international trends following months of intense research.

Paul Duddle, Kronospan's product development and marketing manager, says: "Fresh 2 looks to where interior trends are developing.  The range embraces the growing bitter-sweet yearning for nostalgia and vintage; the desire for natural materials, form and tactility; the wish for a more modest home; and a craving for unpretentious and welcoming interiors."

The Fresh 2 palette is partnered by matching laminates and edgings, and also complemented by seven uni-colours carefully chosen to balance solid colour with the intimate wood textures.

The tactility and realism of Fresh 2 is mirrored across the Kronospan surface range; and no more so than within its nine Natural Touch trends.

Cutting-edge processes have enabled Kronospan, to develop boards that allow the fingertips to trace exactly what the eyes see.  A feature that is totally unique to the industry, Natural Touch provides the tangible beauty of real wood grain combined with the consistency and environmental benefits of manufactured board.

Not content to sit back and take a well earned rest, Kronospan is constantly researching design trends and gossip across the globe.  This year's odyssey will culminate on November 23 and 24 with Kronospan's For(u)m, which is an exclusive opportunity for leading manufacturers, designers, distributors and media writers to shape and forsee Kronospan's surface trends for 2012-2013.
