Sawmill - Sawn timber for fencing & pallets

Kronospan UK is the third largest MDF site worldwide.

Kronospan has a dedicated rail service, which brings in timber from the company’s privately managed forests in Eskdalemuir, Scotland.

In 2004 Kronospan invested £10 million and installed a state of the art SEKA filter – the only one of its kind to exist in the UK.

Kronospan won a Queen's Award in 1999 for Environmental Achievement in industry.

There are over 60,000 timber deliveries per year by both road and rail and in 2007 over 1.5 million tonnes of timber passed through Kronospan's log yard.

Kronospan's continued investment ensures it remains at the forefront of modern production processes and this in turn results in optimum product quality and efficiency.

Kronospan has the advantage of total integration - by producing all of its production components on-site it maintains a high standard of quality control from raw material to finished board.
