These roles provide an exceptional opportunity for people who are ACCA/CICPA/CIMA qualified or equivalent, with strong leadership skills, and who have the potential for further development. Previous holders of these posts have moved into senior General Management roles in the business.

This is very much a hands-on leadership task in a true manufacturing business, firmly focused on profitability and continuous business improvement.

You will provide professional expertise and leadership to ensure that top quality financial management and accounting controls are maintained. Secondly, you will bring a sharp commercial edge to improve business performance, managing projects, setting targets, and driving local Management to meet their goals.

Involved in the detail, you must also be able to manage the big picture, and have the personal qualities to get people to give real commitment to the task in hand. As well as  developing the talented, you will also hold people to account for delivering solutions.

You need to be a real personality with enthusiasm, energy and a strong work ethic, able to demonstrate high levels of initiative coupled with a disciplined, task oriented approach. The ability and confidence to challenge existing practices and to initiate change, focused on improving business and people performance is essential.

Effort and achievement will be rewarded, both in remuneration and progression. Some travel is involved. Fluency in Mandarin is a prerequisite for the posts in China.
