Striking A Delicate Balance of Kolor

Kronospan has bolstered its best-selling Kolorband collection available from Janaury 2008 by adding a variety of new shades and finishes.  Recently announcing the 2008/2009 portfolio of the company's most popular products, the emphasis has been placed on providing a balance between refreshing the collection, while retaining the popular classics to ensure a continuity of service.

Kronospan's Kolorband range comprises a selection of their top-selling products, in the most popular sizes.  Kronospan promises that full loads ordered from the range will be delivered within 48 hours, and half loads within 5 working days, to guarantee a quick turn around for suppliers to enable them to meet their customer demands.

Mark Bircham, Kronospan's Product Development Manager, said "The 2008/2009 range has posed an interesting challenge, as this is the first time we have run a collection for two years, instead of changing it after one.  This means that we had to design a collection that would retain interest for a longer period than ever before.

"We have worked hard to achieve a delicate balance of continuity, by retaining the current favourites, and anticipation, by refreshing the range with a selection of new decors.  It is vital that our customers know that they will be able to sell the products in the range and also be able to source them at short notice, which is the key to the Kolorband portfolio".

Some of the key decor changes include the addition of Walnut Tiepolo (D8953); Cherry Luce (D8946) will replace the more traditional Cherry (D344) decor; the recently introduced Lissa Oak (D8925) will provide a more contemporary version of the Oak (D302); and the American Oak (D303) has been replaced by the fresher Highland Oak (D9750).  The popularity of the new Light Westminster Oak (D8932) means that this too will feature within the new range, along with the elegant Teak decor Mandalay (D8949).

There is also increased presence of melamine-faced MDF within the 2008/2009 Kolorband collection, which is designed to create a more comprehensive offering for the commercial sector.  The melamine-faced MDF is supported by a comprehenisve range of 19 co-ordinating laminates.
