The roles cover a wide spectrum of specialisms, including;
- Maintenance. A trouble shooting role on a large scale production plant. Fault finding, problem resolution and process improvement of electrical, control equipment and instrumentation to rectify problems in a 24/7 continuous cycle plant
- Process improvement. Undertake detailed analysis of trends, apply practical problem solving techniques to deliver solutions, and achieve continuous improvement.
- New Projects. Undertake a commissioning role on major investments. Ensuring OEM equipment is installed and commissioned on time to deliver designed capacity.
You must be
- Degree qualified in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
- Fully conversant with HV/LV electrical distribution systems in an industrial environment
- Have practical experience of working with networked PLC’s (ideally Siemens P7), to include programming and commissioning
- Experienced with a variety of MMI’s, including SCADA systems, with the ability to enhance their function
- Experienced in fault finding, specification and commissioning of a full range of AC/DC motor drive technology, to include servo systems, VSD’s and HV Drives
- Conversant with a wide range of instrumentation devices to include; pressure, temperature and level of control, all interfaced to PLC controls
- A team player who has successfully managed teams of people, projects, and complex maintenance operations
